Canada Golf Vacations | Canadian Golf Vacations

The most populous of Canada’s three prairie provinces, Alberta is home to nearly four million people, many of whom reside in either Edmonton, the capital, or Calgary, the largest city. Five of the nation’s fourteen UNESCO World Heritage sites can be found in the province and these attractions draw hundreds of thousands of visitors to the great outdoors of Alberta every year

Our Canadian Rockies Golf Vacations Packages are focussed around stays in Banff and Jasper – Located in the heart of Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the world-famous Fairmont Banff Springs is a landmark in the picturesque alpine town of Banff, Alberta. Canada’s “Castle in the Rockies” has been providing legendary hospitality to guests since 1888. Unrivalled among Banff luxury hotels, their year-round mountain resort offers a 27-hole championship golf course during the summer. The golf course is set high in the mountains with exciting elevation changes and heart-stopping views that set it apart from any others.

We look forward to welcoming you to this spectacular country for the golfing trip of your dreams…

An Unforgettable Experience

Stunning Mountain Golf

Wherever golf ranks on your list of passions, high mountain courses are among the most spectacular and rewarding golf experiences in the world. Another gem of Canada’s mountain golf is Stewart Creek Golf & Country Club, consistently rated among the best golf experiences in Canada. Few golf courses in North America enjoy the spectacular combination of setting, extraordinary vistas and fantastic golf. Designed by Canadian Golf Architect Gary Browning in 2000, it continues to be a favourite among returning guests, and a discovered jewel for new visitors. With breathtaking views of the Three Sisters, Cascade, Pigeon and Ha Ling Mountains, Stewart Creek is a course that no one who has had the opportunity to experience will soon forget.

A few hours north of Banff, still in the Canadian Rockies, is another Thompson classic at Jasper Park Lodge, and another amazing hotel. It took 50 teams of horses and 200 men working together for a year in order to clear the land of boulders and debris to prepare it for what would become one of Canada’s premiere golf courses. Since the opening of the mountain golf course in 1925, this jewel set deep in the heart of the Canadian Rockies has been the setting of unforgettable memories for all of those who come to play. Stanley Thompson, Canada’s master golf course architect, displayed some of the finest work of his career with this design. The 18-hole layout offers elevated tee boxes, dramatic bunkering and holes aligned with distant mountain vistas. He built wide fairways that carve through thick forest, and maintained a partnership with the environment’s natural contours, blending beautiful landscapes with challenging terrain. As a result, few golf courses in the world can match the rugged majesty of this national treasure.

Incredible Sightseeing

In between Banff and Jasper in the Canadian Rockies are two sightseeing attractions so incredible they merit their own dedicated pages!

Linking Lake Louise with Jasper, is one of the most beautiful journeys on the planet – the Icefields Parkway, Alberta’s Highway 93. Rated as one of the top drives in the world, the Icefield Parkway is a 232 km stretch of double-lane highway winding along the Continental Divide through soaring rocky mountain peaks, ice-fields and vast sweeping valleys. On completion you reach Lake Louise which is a hamlet in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, known for its turquoise, glacier-fed lake ringed by high peaks and overlooked by the stunning Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Hiking trails wind up to the Lake Agnes Tea House for bird’s-eye views. There’s a canoe dock in summer, and a skating rink on the frozen lake in winter. This combination of golf and sightseeing make a Canadian Rockies Golf Tour one that every golfer has to experience in their lifetime!
